The variety is a product of crossing Lobo and Antonovka. The tree is moderately growing, forms a wide crown, and possesses high winter hardiness, suitable for northern regions.

Fruits ripen in late September, are of medium or large size and predominantly red in color. The flesh is white, firm and crunchy, with a sour taste and a light aroma. Fruits store well until December.

The variety is considered a technical one and is suitable for culinary processing and canning. The plant can be susceptible to European apple canker, however, the fruits demonstrate resistance to scab.
