The variety was bred in Russia; the breeding selection took place in Michurinsk. It belongs to the group of autumn varieties. The tree can reach a height of 3 to 8 meters.

The fruits are large, yellow-red in color, have a sweet and sour taste with a pronounced pear aroma. The variety is used as a table variety for fresh consumption and possesses resistance to scab.
