Variety description

The variety has many synonyms, including Dubbele Bellefleur, Belle-Fleur Large Mouche, Tête de Bœuf and Rabaëlle. The tree has strong growth vigor, forms a wide open crown with branches directed upwards and to the sides, and is often grown as high-stem trees.

The fruits are large, greenish-yellow in color with a red blush or stripes. The flesh is pale yellow, firm and dry, with a sweet-sour taste without a pronounced aroma. Harvest maturity occurs in early October, and the storage life is about 3 months.

The variety is triploid and self-infertile, requiring the presence of pollinators. It has good resistance to diseases and a tendency toward biennial bearing, in which years with low yield alternate with years of abundant fruiting.
