Trees of the variety are vigorous, reaching 8–11 meters in height. The crown of young plants is broom-like; with age, it becomes broad and spherical with drooping branch tips. The variety is late-fruiting, entering into production in the 7–9th year; it is self-sterile and requires pollinators.

Fruits are medium-sized or large, weighing 100–200 g, having a greenish-yellow ground color with bright orange-red stripes. The fruit flesh is yellowish, juicy, and loose. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and is relatively resistant to scab, but has low drought tolerance.

Harvest maturity occurs in early September; fruits can be stored until early December. Yield is high; in mature trees, slight biennial bearing may be observed.
