The tree is characterized by very strong growth, reaching a height of 3–5 meters and forming a large, high-domed crown. The variety is triploid, therefore it does not act as a pollinator for other apple trees. It is moderately winter-hardy and well-adapted to temperate climates; however, it may be affected by canker on heavy, waterlogged soils.
The fruits are large, round or round-conical in shape, with yellow-green skin and a red blush. The flesh is juicy, with a wine-sweet, spicy flavor. The variety is a winter type: harvesting begins in mid-October, and the consumer maturity of the fruits lasts from December to April, provided there is good keeping quality.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
