Pineau de Villeneuve is a vigorous tree with a spreading crown. The fruits are medium to large in size, colored from pale green to yellow, sometimes having a pink blush. After December, the fruits of this variety are prone to quickly becoming mealy.
Pommier Pineau is distinguished by good disease resistance. The tree forms large fruits that retain their qualities until the end of the year.
