Variety description

The variety is a clone of the Cripps Red variety. Young growth on the sunny side has a reddish-brown hue; a high anthocyanin content is noted on the underside of leaf petioles and on young ovaries.

The fruits are characterized by early color development. Compared to the parent variety, they have a darker, purple-red shade with a solid blush and narrow stripes.

The variety is intended for the cultivation of commercial produce meant for fresh consumption.
