The Rdeči ovčji nos variety, also known by the names Rote Schafnase and Štupanka, is an old folk variety of Malus domestica. It is preserved as part of cultural heritage and biodiversity, primarily in traditional high-stem meadow orchards of the Kozjansko region.

The apple fruits have a slightly oblong conical shape. The variety belongs to the autumn-winter category and is traditionally used in households, in particular, for the preparation of various dishes, such as apple strudel.
