The tree is vigorous at a young age, later the growth becomes moderate. It forms a large, wide-spreading crown with picturesquely drooping branches, reaching 6–8 meters in height on vigorous rootstocks. The variety possesses good winter hardiness down to -30°C, however, under unfavorable conditions, it may be affected by powdery mildew.

Fruits are medium to large in size, often asymmetrical, with a distinctive bulge at the stalk. The ground color of the skin ranges from greenish to lemon-yellow, with red overcolor in the form of a marble pattern or stripes. The flesh is juicy, sweet-and-sour, with a pleasant aroma. The variety is a diploid and a good pollinator.

The harvest is gathered from mid to late October. The fruits reach consumer maturity by December and can be stored until May. The variety is considered versatile, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, baking, and processing into juice.
