The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, a spreading crown, and drooping branches, reaching a height of 3–6 meters. The variety is triploid and pollen-sterile, therefore requiring two pollinator varieties to obtain a harvest. Fruiting is characterized by periodicity, with the most abundant harvests collected every other year.
The fruits are large, round or flattened in shape, with smooth waxy skin of a dark green or yellow-green color. The firm and juicy flesh has a yellowish-green tint and a tart flavor. The variety has good keeping quality, lasting in refrigerated conditions for up to 5–6 months, and successfully adapts to various soil types in hardiness zones 5–7.
The plant is susceptible to fire blight and is also moderately prone to scab, powdery mildew, and rust. The harvest matures between September and October. The primary use of the fruits is culinary processing, particularly for pies and sauces, although they are also suitable for fresh consumption after storage.
