The variety is a vigorous tree reaching 5 meters in height, forming a strong crown. The variety is triploid, therefore it is a poor pollinator for other apple trees. Fruiting begins late and is characterized by pronounced periodicity. The variety is suitable for cultivation in sheltered locations, including high-altitude areas, although the wood does not have high frost resistance.

Fruits are large or very large, often flattened in shape. The skin is smooth, greasy, greenish-yellow in color with reddish stripes or a diffuse blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, dry, sweet in taste, with low acid content. The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew and canker; watercore in fruits is also possible.

Winter variety: harvest maturity occurs in mid-October, consumption maturity from December to March or April. The fruits are used both fresh and for culinary processing, including the preparation of juices, compotes, and baked goods.
