The tree is medium-sized, forms a fast-growing broad crown, and is suitable for growing on trellises. The fruits have an orbicular-conical, often uneven shape, reaching 5–6 cm in height and 6–7 cm in width. The primary skin color is greenish-yellow, with a red striped blush and light russeting.
The fruit flesh is yellowish-white, firm, fine-grained, and juicy; it becomes softer during storage. It is a winter variety; harvest maturity occurs in October, and the fruits are suitable for consumption from December to March. It is used as a dessert variety, as well as for culinary purposes and cider production.
The variety is triploid and is not suitable as a pollinator for other apple trees. It is characterized by a tendency toward biennial bearing and fruit drop, and is susceptible to powdery mildew and canker. It requires deep, fertile soils and a mild climate with high humidity.
