The tree is medium-sized and characterized by its ornamental qualities: flowers are pink, and leaves and bark have a reddish hue. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties with a coinciding flowering period for fruiting. The variety is considered winter-hardy, withstanding frosts down to -34°C.
Fruits have an average weight of 130–180 g and are elongated or elongated-conical in shape. The skin is dark red, and the flesh is bright red, juicy, and fine-grained. The ripening period falls between the end of August and September. The taste of the fruits is sweet-and-sour and aromatic, with tart or citrus notes. The flesh is prone to browning upon contact with air.
