The tree grows vigorously, forming a wide, well-branched crown with strongly drooping branches. The variety is considered undemanding and hardy, characterized by early-mid and prolonged flowering; the flowers are resistant to weather conditions.

The fruits are of medium size, round or truncate-conical in shape. The smooth skin turns from greenish-yellow to bright yellow upon ripening, with a diffused red or dark red blush and carmine stripes. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, of medium density with a pleasant sweet-and-sour taste and a faint spicy aroma.

The variety is a winter type: fruits ripen in October, become suitable for consumption in December, and retain their consumer quality until March. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and for industrial processing into juice or cider.
