The tree in its youth is characterized by vigorous growth, forming a high-domed crown, and reaches a height of 2 to 4 meters. The variety is prone to biennial bearing. Harvest maturity occurs at the end of September, consumption maturity lasts from December to March.
Fruits are flat-round or round, often noticeably ribbed, with pale cream flesh. The variety is demanding regarding growing conditions, preferring warm regions with fertile, well-drained soils. It performs poorly in cold and high-altitude regions.
The variety is susceptible to scab, fire blight, and bitter pit. The fruits have good keeping quality, storing until March.
