The tree is medium-sized with vigorous growth. With age, the crown forms into a high-arched shape, later becoming gracefully spreading with horizontally positioned branches. The variety is characterized by frost hardiness and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including mountainous regions.

Fruits are medium-sized, flat-conical or rounded in shape with characteristic flat ribs extending from the calyx to the middle. The skin is shiny, smooth, often with a waxy bloom. The flesh is yellowish-white, sometimes with pink veins under the skin. Fruits are harvested in late September and are suitable for storage until January.

The variety is used as a dessert apple and for processing. The plant is fairly undemanding, although susceptibility to scab and canker is noted. It is valued for stable yields in extensive horticulture.
