The variety is a winter type; harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in October, consumer maturity — from November to March-April. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth when young, forming a high dome-shaped, and with age, a wide-spreading crown from 2.5 to 6 meters in height. The variety serves as a good pollinator for other apple trees.

The fruits are medium-sized, rounded, often with noticeable ribs and facets. The skin is smooth, slightly greasy, coloring from light green to golden yellow with a pink or bright red blush. The yellowish-white flesh is firm and juicy, possessing a sweet and sour taste. The fruits retain their quality for up to 5–6 months.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness and wind resistance. Susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew is noted. Under unfavorable conditions, premature fruit drop is possible during drought, and on heavy soils, the fruits may remain acidic. Excessively heavy pruning can provoke the development of bitter pit.
