The tree is distinguished by vigorous to moderately vigorous growth and forms a high-spherical crown with branches drooping under the weight of the fruit. The variety is resistant to scab, canker, and powdery mildew, is undemanding to soils, and adapts well to sandy and gravelly ground.

Flowering occurs very late, in late May, which protects the variety from spring frosts and allows it to be used as a pollinator. The fruits are of medium size, high-rounded or conical in shape, and have a yellow color with an orange-red blush, spots, and short stripes.

The crop is harvested from late September to early October; the fruits have high wind resistance. The apples have a predominantly sour taste and are suitable for consumption until January, and are also excellent for making juice, cider, compotes, or for baking.
