The variety is a regional cultivar from the Paderborn district, East Westphalia-Lippe. The tree has medium vigor. Successful cultivation requires a sunny or semi-shaded location and permeable, nutrient-rich soil.

The fruits are small in size with red stripes, the flesh is juicy, and the taste is sweet-and-sour. Harvesting begins in October. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and juice production.
