The tree is vigorously growing, forming a broad, spreading crown. Fruits are small to medium in size, flat-round in shape. The skin is smooth, yellow-orange when ripe with a bright red blush or stripes, often with noticeable light-colored lenticels.

The flesh is creamy-white, sometimes with pinkish veins, juicy, with a distinct aroma. The taste is sharp and sour when harvested early, becoming sweeter upon full maturity. The variety is characterized by poor keeping quality, a tendency for mature fruit to drop, and good resistance to scab, though it is sensitive to sulfur treatment.

The variety is self-fertile. It is used primarily as a dessert variety for fresh consumption, and is also suitable for making juices and baking. For high-quality yields, thinning of the fruit set and the application of potassium fertilizers are recommended.
