The tree is characterized by vigorous growth at a young age, becoming moderately vigorous later, and reaches a height of 2 to 8 meters depending on the rootstock. The crown is usually pyramidal in shape with drooping branches, requiring regular pruning to prevent splitting during heavy yields.

Fruits reach harvest maturity in October, with consumer ripeness occurring from November. They have yellowish-white juicy flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste. The skin is smooth, light yellow, sometimes with a slight blush, and becomes slightly greasy during storage. The variety is noted for high winter hardiness.
