The variety matures in the second half of September. The fruits are suitable for consumption shortly after harvest and can be stored until February. The plant requires moist soils and warm locations protected from the wind; when grown on sandy or dry soils, the fruits become smaller. The variety is resistant to diseases, but is prone to sharp alternate bearing by year.
The fruits have a waxy sheen on the skin, the color of which changes from greenish-yellow to waxy yellow upon ripening. The yellowish flesh of the fruits is fine-grained and juicy. The variety is considered a dessert apple, but it is characterized by low transportability and sensitivity to mechanical damage.
