Fruits of the Valtti apple variety are of medium to large size, with a flat-spherical symmetrical shape. Fruits do not hold firmly to the tree, so the variety requires a location protected from winds.

The tree is characterized by high winter hardiness; the crown is sparse, flat, with drooping branches. The variety begins to bear fruit early; yield is stable but prone to periodicity, with abundant fruiting every other year.
