The tree is vigorous, forming a large canopy with branches directed obliquely upward, reaching 6–8 meters in height. Fruits are small to medium in size, blunt-round, with smooth skin. The primary color is light yellow, with a solid carmine-red color with dark red stripes appearing on the sunny side upon ripening. The flesh is almost white, fine-celled, juicy, and slightly loose.

The variety is late-maturing; harvest maturity occurs from mid-October. The fruits have a wine-acid flavor and hold well on the tree. In a cool room, they store for about two months. Trees are characterized by high winter hardiness and robustness; however, when grown in low-lying areas, they may be affected by scab and powdery mildew. Yield is biennial; bearing begins late.
