Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is vigorous, spreading, and capable of fruiting on spurs and previous years' shoots. The variety is prone to heavy bearing; therefore, regular thinning of ovaries is required to prevent fruit size reduction and alternate bearing.

The fruits are oblong-conical in shape, yellow-green in color with crimson stripes and large lenticels. The flesh is firm, juicy, and medium-grained, becoming sweeter during storage. The variety features good keeping quality and is suitable for fresh consumption and culinary use.

The variety has a low chill hour requirement and is self-fertile, but provides better yields in the presence of pollinators. The plant is resistant to powdery mildew, but shows susceptibility to fire blight and is sensitive to magnesium deficiency.
