The fruits are small, about 3 cm in size, slightly flattened, and dark red in color. The flesh of the fruits is red, and they are used for processing, such as making jelly or cider. The fruits remain on the branches for a long time after the leaves have fallen.
The variety is winter hardy (zones 4–7) and a hardy plant, suitable for urban landscaping and group plantings. It can serve as a pollinator for other apple varieties.
