Tree or large shrub 4–6 meters tall with a broad pyramidal crown. Blooms in May with single white flowers with pink stripes and red buds 3–3.5 cm in diameter.
Fruits are small, 1.5–2.5 cm in diameter, round or slightly flattened, ripening in early autumn. They have a tart, spicy taste and are used for processing into jams, jellies, or cider.
The variety is light-loving, resistant to urban conditions, scab, and powdery mildew, and possesses high winter hardiness. Prefers fertile, moist soils with good drainage; does not tolerate waterlogging.
