The tree is noted for its vigorous growth and forms a tall, broad crown. The fruits are medium to large in size, with a broad conical, sometimes slightly ribbed shape. The skin is lemon-yellow, eventually acquiring a golden hue, with a marbled red blush or stripes on the sunny side.

The flesh of the fruit is light yellow, firm, and aromatic, with a characteristic spicy rennet taste. A winter variety with harvest in October and a consumption period from November to March. Bearing is late and periodic, with abundant yields every two to three years.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to scab, although it may be affected by powdery mildew during dry periods. The fruits are not prone to dropping, rotting, or wilting. The variety is weakly self-pollinating; partner varieties are required for effective pollination.
