The tree reaches a height of about 6–8 meters. The crown has a spreading shape. The flowers are simple, fragrant, and colored in a delicate pink, which is retained both in the buds and in the full bloom phase.
The fruits are small, about 2 cm in diameter, and have a red color. The plant is intended exclusively for decorative use. Susceptibility of the variety to fire blight has been noted.
