The tree is medium-sized with a fast growth rate and a loose crown up to 5 meters wide. Leaves are oval, bright green, and turn red in the autumn period. Flowering occurs in May; buds are pink, and opened flowers are white or light pink.
Fruits are small, 2–2.5 cm in diameter, spherical or oval, intensely yellow, sometimes with an orange blush. They ripen in early September and are characterized by strong attachment to the branches, remaining on the tree until winter. The fruit taste is tart; they are used primarily for decorative purposes and processing.
The variety has high resistance to frosts down to -30°C, scab, and air pollution. Regular sanitary and formative pruning is recommended to prevent excessive load on the branches during an abundant harvest.
