The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of about 3 meters, and up to 2 meters on dwarf rootstocks. The crown of young trees is conical; in fruit-bearing trees, it becomes broadly rounded and densely branched, with branches that may droop under the weight of the crop.
The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing 140–170 g, and are round-conical in shape. The skin is yellow-golden, with a possible reddish blush on the sunny side. The flesh is white or cream-colored, with a sweet-and-sour taste.
This is a winter variety: the fruits ripen in late September and, under proper conditions, can be stored until April. Successful fruit-bearing requires cross-pollination. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and for all types of processing.
