The rootstock was developed at the Techobuzice breeding station in the Czech Republic. In terms of growth vigor, this rootstock approaches seedlings, however, its feature is a tendency to produce root suckers.
When using this rootstock, grafted varieties demonstrate early entry into bearing and good productivity. Its functional purpose corresponds to the characteristics of the Malling 1 rootstock type.
