The tree has an upright crown shape and can grow up to 9–12 meters in height. Flowering is abundant, with white flowers developing from pinkish buds. The small fruits have a color ranging from red to dark burgundy and ripen in autumn.
The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness in zones 2–8 and good resistance to scab and powdery mildew. The fruits remain on the branches until the onset of winter, attracting birds. The variety is used in landscape design for landscaping parks and gardens.
