The tree is vigorous, forming a strong, dense, spherical crown that becomes spreading and pendulous with age. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness of the wood and flowers, is resistant to powdery mildew, but susceptible to scab. The onset of fruiting is late, occurring at the age of 10–15 years, after which yields become regular and abundant.
Fruits are small or medium, weighing about 100 g, and have a conical or ovoid shape. The skin is light yellow, sometimes with a blush; the flesh is white, juicy, with a spicy sweet-and-sour taste. The harvest is collected from late September to mid-October. Due to its high viability, the variety is often used as a stem-forming rootstock.
The variety is considered universal: the fruits are consumed fresh, dried, and used for compotes, fruit butter, cider production, and distillates. The plant does not require intensive care, prefers moist soils, and is well-suited for extensive orchards.
