The variety was obtained by crossing elite clones, including lines WAPRS-4 and the varieties Trifecta, Sequel, and Aquarius. The crop is used as a pasture and hay plant, showing high dry matter yield under subtropical conditions.

The plant possesses resistance to anthracnose (Colletotrichum trifolii) and Phytophthora root rot (Phytophthora megasperma). The variety has been used in scientific research dedicated to studying tolerance to soil acidity and evaluating heterosis.
