The Solaris variety is an industrial crop not intended for smoking. Its primary use is to obtain raw materials for the biofuel industry and to create high-protein plant components used in feed production.

During the breeding process of this variety, the main focus was placed on increasing flower and seed productivity with a targeted reduction in leaf mass. The leaves of plants of this variety contain no nicotine.
