The variety belongs to the group of oriental tobacco of the Basma type. It was obtained through intervarietal hybridization, using Krumovgrad 90, Elenski 817, and Krumovgrad 988 as parent forms.

The plant is classified as a multi-leaf variety. The product possesses specific aromatic and taste qualities characteristic of oriental tobacco grown in Bulgaria and demonstrates high antioxidant activity.

The variety is intended for use in the tobacco industry to obtain high-quality fermented raw material for the production of tobacco products.
