The tree is characterized by low vigor and an upright crown shape. The leaves are elliptic-lanceolate in shape and small in size. The variety is self-incompatible, flowers early, and is characterized by a very high percentage of ovary abortion, resulting in irregular and low yields.
The fruits are medium-sized, ovoid, and slightly asymmetric in shape, turning violet-black upon ripening. The variety belongs to late maturity groups. The plant possesses good resistance to low temperatures but is sensitive to olive leaf spot.
