The variety originates from the Chalkidiki region in Greece and is considered indigenous. The fruits of the plant are presented in 'blue' and 'green' Stroggylolia forms.

In scientific literature, the variety is considered an object for molecular genetic studies and the study of endocarp morphology. Agronomic characteristics, including maturity group, product quality indicators, and disease resistance, are not presented in open sources.
