The plant forms erect, slightly branching bushes 50 to 76 cm tall. Leaves are simple, lobed, oblanceolate, have an acuminate shape, are pubescent, and are colored medium-green.

Flowers are cup-shaped, non-double. Petals are colored bright orange-red, coral, or salmon-orange with characteristic black spots at the base. Stamen filaments and anthers are dark, with a purple or blackish shade.

The variety belongs to the early-flowering group; the flowering period occurs in late spring and early summer. The plant requires a sunny location and well-drained fertile soils, reacts negatively to excessive moisture and high air humidity combined with heat.
