Variety description

The plant forms a basal rosette of gray-green foliage. The flowers have a cup-shaped form and a crepe texture of the petals in a lilac-plum shade with dark spots at the base and dark purple stamens in the center. After blooming in the hot summer months, the above-ground part may die back.
The flowering period occurs in late spring and early summer. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness in USDA zones 3–8, and resistance to powdery mildew, leaf spot, and leaf scorch. Due to its compact size, it is suitable for growing in containers, borders, and group plantings, and is also suitable for cut flowers.
