The stems of the variety reach nearly 2 meters in height. Seed ripening is uneven, both between individual shoots and within inflorescences, which complicates harvesting. Due to its great height and heavy panicles, the variety is susceptible to lodging in windy conditions.
The plant possesses high flood tolerance, withstanding it for up to 9 months; however, the variety is sensitive to high water tables and performs poorly on acidic or depleted soils. Seed productivity is approximately 600 kg/ha, and the nitrogen content in dry matter reaches 2.27%.
