Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a specialized forage crop. The main advantage is the reduced alkaloid content, which increases the palatability and nutritional value of the feed. The plant is used for creating pastures, harvesting hay and silage, and is also considered a potential source of biomass.

The plant has a rhizomatous root system and forms dense sod, reaching a height of 1.8–2 meters under favorable conditions. Initial growth in the first year after sowing is slow. The variety is characterized by high adaptability to flooding conditions and good drought tolerance among cool-season perennial grasses.
