The variety belongs to an agricultural type and was historically intended primarily for forage purposes. In documentation, the variety is classified as a pasture type. In specialized manuals on turf grasses from the 1980s, it was characterized as less suitable for creating high-quality turf covers compared to modern varieties.

The variety was included in registers in the 1970s and is currently considered obsolete; therefore, detailed modern agronomic data for it are practically non-existent. During tests in the 1970s in the FRG, the variety was not recognized as sufficiently uniform in a number of characteristics.
