The variety belongs to medium-tall plants with stem heights of 40–60 cm. Leaves are narrow, the flag leaf has a short length and a width from narrow to medium. The variety is characterized by the dark color of the leaf blades.

Heading occurs in mid-May. The variety is used primarily as a component of lawn mixtures, where in combination with red fescue it demonstrates good establishment, sward density, and chlorophyll content indicators.
