The variety is the result of crossing the Moskovskij Nr. 2019 and Roinov forms. The plant is characterized by the ability to form a very dense stand, which effectively suppresses weeds such as dandelions, especially when nitrogen fertilizers are applied.

The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew. In agronomic studies, it is noted that the pasture palatability of this bluegrass for livestock may be lower compared to some other grass species.
