The variety Manera (breeding number ACW 4353) was obtained from a cross between the varieties Bergarouge and Luizet. The tree is characterized by good vigor, an open canopy habit, and the ability to fruit on both short and long shoots. The variety enters production early and requires pollinator trees.

Fruits are round, bicolored (orange-red), with a weight of 50–70 g. They possess high juiciness, aroma, and a sugar content of about 13%. The fruit skin is resistant to cracking during rainfall at harvest time.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to Monilinia laxa and bacteriosis, which makes it promising for organic gardening and the northern regions of Europe.
