The tree is vigorous, productive, with a rounded crown. The variety is characterized by early flowering and a mid-season maturity period from late June to early July. The plant is considered hardy and resistant to late spring frosts. It possesses the property of self-fertility, while the presence of pollinators can increase yield.

The fruits have a heart-shaped or slightly flattened form of medium to medium-large size. The skin is light orange with a golden hue and a reddish blush. The flesh is golden, firm and juicy, and the stone separates easily from the flesh. The variety is traditionally used for canning, drying, freezing, and fresh consumption.
