The tree has an open canopy and high vigor. The variety is characterized by late flowering, which reduces the risk of damage from spring frosts, as well as high resistance to low winter temperatures and diseases, being adapted to the climate of the Alpine foothills.

The fruits are medium to medium-small in size, have a round shape and yellow-orange skin with red marbled speckles. The flesh is firm and juicy, with a high sugar content. The variety is considered late-ripening; the harvest period lasts from the end of July to the first ten days of August.

The variety is versatile and is used fresh, for the production of jams, juices, and canning in syrup. Due to its high degree of homozygosity, the variety has traditionally been propagated by seeds, maintaining the uniformity of the offspring.
