The Vesna variety was obtained as a result of crossing the Madarska variety with a pollen mixture of the Achrori, Arzami and Zard varieties. The flowering period of this variety coincides with the flowering period of the Hungarian Best variety.
The fruits of the variety meet the quality requirements for fresh produce. In scientific studies on resistance to Plum pox virus, this genotype showed symptoms of infection.
